JOIN IN

For any of the events, we need extra hands to help with the following:

  • Signage and putting up posters

  • Making teas, coffees, cakes and savouries

  • Kitchen Fairies - those marvellous wonders who help serve, wash up and keep us all in drinks and food at events

  • Selling Tickets

  • Collecting subscriptions

  • Delivering newsletters

  • Flower arranging, collecting flowers and greenery and getting creative

  • Transport - can you offer your older neighbour a lift so they don't miss out on community events?  We're determined to do our bit to combat loneliness, can you do yours? https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/news/2016/11/no-lonely-day-in-norfolk-county-urged-to-come-together-to-stamp-out-loneliness-with-new-campaign

  • Setting up stalls, pricing up goodies and arranging tables and chairs

  • Finding new artisan stalls, local businesses and traders that want to sell their products

And all of this whilst keeping a smile on our faces!

Help us Host!

We can never have too many helping hands!

Maybe you have a flair for cupcakes?  Why not bake a batch to sell at one of our events? Or maybe you're more of a green fingered gardener?  We need a volunteer to help look after the small 'welcome' garden at the village sign.  If you are particularly proud of your parsnips, why not donate some to sell, or see what tasty soup we can make at the Christmas Fair with them this year?

If you can think of it, we bet that we can find you role!  You don't have to sign up and commit to a regular 'thing' you're more than welcome to pick and choose when and how you can help, all we ask is that you let us know that you can help!!
